I agree to a certain extent that the signing of the Munich Agreement was a mistake made by the British. By doing so, the British gave Germany a chance to grow stronger in both aspects of the economy and the military. With more resources in Germany's hands, it would prove to be more difficult to subdue them if the need arises.

Secondly, it was a mistake as it encouraged Hitler that he could do what he want without any strong opposition from Britain and France. He remiltarised Rhineland even though it was against the Treaty of Versailles. France did not retaliate against Hitler giving him the impression that he could do what he want.

On the other hand, it was not a mistake for Britain as the people wanted to avoid the need for another war. The after effects of world war one was still in the minds of many. With the munich agreement, it would ensure that no war would be derived from Germany.

Britain also needed time to build up its resources. The first world war had caused Britain's resources to dwindle quickly. By signing the Munich agreement, Britain would be able to buy time to build up its economy and military. This would further strengthen a retaliation if Germany was to start a war.

I agreed to a certain extent that signing of the Munich Agreement was a mistake made by the British. This encouraged Hitler to capture the country in Europe as he thought that no one could go against or stopping him. It also gave Germany a chance to become a stronger country again as Germany could to build up its resources. This meant that Germany can easily start a war.
No, the policy of Munich Agreement is no a mistake. People in Britain and France wanted to avoid another war and they also needed time to build up resources. In conclusion I think that it is a mistake.

I think the signing of the Munich Agreement was a mistake by the British.
Firstly it makes Hitler think that the British were soft, no one would go against him, thus he was bold enough to lead in ww2.
secondly, this encouraged him to think capture more places like Czechoslovakia and poland .
thirdly , By signing the Munich agreement, Britain would be able to build up its ,resources, economy and military, to take revenge against France . Leading to ww2.
Thus I think it was a mistake.

The signing of the Munich Agreement was a big mistake by the British. They should have asked the Leader of Czechoslovkia to be at the Munich agreement also. As the Sundetenland was not part of British or France they gave it up easily. Not only they gave it up to the Germany, they also started World War II no knowingly. Germany agreed to stop attacking however they attack even more after the Munich Agreement as it encourage him to attack more as Hitler knew they could not do anything to him. Hitler continue to attack the whole of Czechoslovkia then Poland. This also cause USSR to attack Germany as the Nazi-Soviet pact was broken by Operation Barbarossa. Thus in conclusion, the signing of agreement allow Hitler to be sure that the league of nation could do nothing againt Germany in thier invasion. Thus leading to World War II.

I would agree to a certain extent that the French and the British made a grave mistake by signing the Munich agreement. It let Hitler have an impression that nothing will be done if he was to invade the other parts of Europe. The agrrement was to allow Hitler to have Sudetenland which was part of Poland, without any fights or struggle. Without much thinking, it is obvious that Hitler took the opportunity of leniency to fulfill his dream on conquering the whole of Europe. Thus, this clearly shows that Hitler was not detered at all to invade more countries. Thus the Munich agreement was a disaster.
At that point of time, nothing else could be done to prevent the hungry beast from invading the other parts of Europe. Therefore, appeasing would be the only solution which had a risk of backfiring.
In conclusion, even if the only way out was to appease Hitler, the policy was leading the condition to further devastation. With that I would want to say that the Munich agreement was a total disaster to prevent Hitler from invding Europe.
